Match Report
Warwick School U14A vs  King Edward's School, Birmingham
On: Tuesday, 12 Sep 2023
Venue: Away

Warwick U14A Boys travelled to KES Birmingham in their first game of the season. The game was even going into the half time break, KES playing a quick attacking game while Warwick moved the ball from left to right, with many goal scoring opportunities presenting themselves.

The second half saw an increase in match intensity from both sides, but it was KES Birmingham that would break the deadlock, winning a short corner and dispatching it into the bottom right corner.

The game continued to yo-yo, both teams having goal scoring chances but denied by outstanding defensive work. However, Warwick continued to press and Barney Gale showed some outstanding skills before slipping it back post for Freddie to slot the ball home. This goal lifted the Warwick energy further and soon after Barney Gale carried the ball through the KES defence with good composure and reverse lifted the ball passed the goalkeeper.

A good start to the season for the U14A boys, with some areas to work on in training this week.
